Winter Wedding in Virginia Park Lodge

“We’ve just had a chance to sit down this evening to look through the Gallery and WOW we’re not even sure where to start we are just completely blown away again and just can’t thank you enough for helping us relive the best day of our lives all over again through the magic of these photographs we will treasure forever! Thank you so so much you truly are the best and you just went over and above throughout the entire day!

We’ve had the most lovely evening going through them all!”

Eva & Ronan

Eva and Ronan’s celebration was my last wedding of the year in 2021 :) And wow, what a beautiful day it was! It rained buckets in the morning, but as soon as Eva and her Dad pulled up at the Trinity Chapel, the clouds parted and the sun came out for a bit.

Eva and Ronan met in Trinity 11 years prior to the wedding, so it felt fitting for them to get married in the Chapel on the grounds as a symbol of the journey they had been on. After a lovely personal ceremony we hung out on the square for some relaxed photos, before heading to Virginia Park Lodge for reception.

Their original wedding date was actually during the summer but due to lockdown the couple had to postpone to December. What’s quite nice is that when they originally viewed VPL they always thought it would be so perfect for a Winter Wedding so it all worked out in the end :)

From Eva’s words: “VPL has everything we want for our day - a beautiful country lodge that is formal but not overly so. We want our guests to feel at home from the second they walk into the Lodge foyer and everything from the roaring fires to beautiful floral installations and atmospheric lighting make this our perfect winter wonderland for our friends and family to feel welcomed and have a lovely time.”

Eva and Ronan’s put so much thought into personal details, decor and food. The Pavillion looked stunning with lots of candles and rich colour flowers, which created a very cosy atmosphere.

Scroll to the end of the post to see a list of the couple’s suppliers, who have all been fabulous on the day!
