Elegant Black Tie Wedding In Tankardstown House
Alanna and Conor celebrated their wedding in the beautiful Tankardstown House in Meath. I loved that their main priority was to focus on their families and friends and spending their big day with them.
Even though it was a black tie wedding with a classic elegance theme, the whole day felt very relaxed without too much pressure on anyone (apart from rushing to do the family photos outside after the ceremony before the rain came!).
Manila Strings were providing brilliant entertainment during the drinks reception and the meal, and all the guests were singing and dancing almost all day long! It was great fun :)
Alanna wore a stunning dress designed by Emma Beaumont. She was a vision and we made sure to get some portraits of her throughout the day.
Bridal party bouquets, church and venue flowers were designed and arranged by The French Touch, who are always an absolute pleasure to work with. Just love photographing their work. Flower arrangements were in classic white, ivory and green colours and included spray roses, hydrangeas, scented stock and peonies. The wonderful cake in the same theme was created by Cove Cake Design. Stationery was by Freckles & Fern.
Even though it rained during the couple’s photos, we actually managed to stay dry by doing the photos under the tree canopy in front of the Tankardstown House. We did a few minutes of photos when the bride and groom got back to the venue from the church, and then they had the whole drinks reception to themselves. It stopped raining later in the evening and thankfully we still had some daylight left, so we went outside for a few more photos at 10pm!
