Elegant December Wedding in Virginia Park Lodge

Grace-Ann and Karl got married on the first day of winter and had their reception in the beautiful Virginia Park Lodge. The day started off cold and frosty, but with glorious sunshine. We had the most beautiful light for couple’s photos on the grounds after the ceremony. The family photos were taken inside the lodge in the main drawing room to keep everybody warm :)

The theme and style was quite classic and elegant. The colours were ivory and green. The couple wanted quite a soft, romantic kind of feel so the flowers were mainly gypsophila complimented by lots of ivory candles and soft lighting. The most important thing for their wedding day was that everyone enjoyed themselves and had fun. The couple wanted it to be relaxed and elegant, and we structured the day in such a way that they could enjoy the drinks reception with their guests.
