County Meath is just north of Dublin in the province of Leinster. It is known as the royal county and is famous for its archaeological and historic sites including The Hill of Tara, Newgrange and Knowth. Meath is home to some of the most popular wedding venues in Ireland due to it’s proximity to Dublin and beauty of the landscape. Most venues are located near historic towns of Navan, Kells and Trim making it easy for guests to travel and find accommodation.

Country House Wedding Venues Meath
Some of the best venues in the county are private and exclusive country house hotels, meaning that the property is yours for the day and you and your guests have complete privacy for the celebration.
TANKARDSTOWN HOUSE
This is a luxury exclusive hotel located in the heart of Meath, yet within a short drive from Dublin. It has a variety of drawing rooms whether for an intimate wedding or elopement or drinks reception, and a beautiful bright orangery for dinner and dancing. It boasts an award winning wedding menu and an old Victorian walled garden where you can have an outdoor wedding ceremony.
The Orangery seats up to 230 guests with prices starting from €89 per person.

BALLYMAGARVEY VILLAGE
This is a beautiful private estate in the historic Boyne Valley. The wooded grounds and Victorian walled garden are surrounded by views of the countryside.
The 18th century Manor House is set around an open Courtyard. The venue has been lovingly restored to an exceptionally high standard transforming the historic outbuildings into charming spaces for both intimate and large wedding celebrations.
You can also have your humanist or civil ceremony on site and dinner in the main banquet hall.
The venue has the capacity for 226 guests with on site accommodation and prices start from €85.

BELLINTER HOUSE
Bellinter House is an award winning wedding venue and has been recently named ‘Best Exclusive Wedding Venue in Ireland’ as well as Luxury Travel Guide’s ‘Unique Wedding Venue of the Year 2018’, 'Best Exclusive Wedding Venue in Leinster', 'Best Exclusive Wedding Venue in the Midlands'. All the couples and their guests enjoy an award winning wedding menu as this venue has also won 2AA-Rosette Award for food.
Located just 30 minutes from Dublin, Bellinter House is renowned as one of the most beautiful country house wedding venues in Ireland. This stunning 18th century Georgian manor is set on banks of the River Boyne.
The main Refectory Suite can accommodate 206 guests and wedding prices start from €75 for a mid-week celebration.

CLONABREANY HOUSE
Clonabreany House near the town of Oldcastle opened its doors for weddings in 2009 after a 10 year restoration project. Clonabreany is a private Irish country house and estate located in the heart of the Meath just an hour from Dublin.
It offers exclusive bespoke weddings and events catering for up to 220 guests for drinks reception in the main house and dinner in the permanent marquee, with accommodation for up to 90 guests in the cottages.
Clonabreany boasts a luxurious bridal suite with views over Lougchrew Hills and a cute Shebeen Bar which is a very popular feature with couples and wedding guests.
