Classic Elegance: Virginia Park Lodge Wedding Photos
"Dasha was so conscientious and organised. We felt so relaxed all day, it didn't even feel like we were being photographed.
The photos are beautiful, we absolutely adore them! They capture the day perfectly and the sheer joy really comes across in the photos.
Our family and friends are raving about them.
We can't believe how quickly Dasha had them to us and we really appreciate it!"
Katie & Greg
Beautiful Irish Wedding At Virginia Park Lodge.
Katie and Greg live in Dublin, but planned an elegant black tie wedding at Virginia Park Lodge in Co.Cavan. Virginia Park Lodge is only an hour away from Dublin. It’s a beautiful lakeside location and a perfect country house wedding venue for an elegant and homely Irish wedding. The bride and groom's overall aim for the wedding was to have a bright, classic wedding with simple colours. They felt the beautiful Pavillion in Virginia spoke for itself and one of the amazing aspects of a late May wedding was the long daylight hours to give them as much time as possible to enjoy that room.
From the bride and groom: "We fell in love with the magical Pavilion at the Virginia Park Lodge and the beautiful views and landscape from the Pavilion. We chose black tie as we love the timeless elegance. We want photos we can look back on in 20 years and still be happy. We have a lot of mutual friends so we have envisioned a wedding surrounded by all our friends and families. Indeed one of the reasons we were drawn to your portfolio was the light tones of your shots. We are looking for a photographer to capture the moments between ourselves, our friends and families on our big day".
The Irish summer this year has blessed us with gorgeous weather and the sun was shining from morning till late that night! The bride and bridesmaids enjoyed the clear view of Lake Ramor from the bridal suite when they were getting ready. All the guests enjoyed the drinks reception out on the lawn in front of the house. The Pavillion was filled with natural light with twinkle lights adding to the evening atmosphere in the room. The wonderful white and blush flowers from The French Touch really complimented the reception room and created an elegant setting for the wedding dinner.
The bride's style was effortless and understated, yet refined and classic. Katie wore a beautiful dress by Pronovias complimenting the look with a pair of Manolo Blahnik bridal shoes. Greg looked smashing in a classic tuxedo from Louis Copeland. Honestly I think Katie and Greg's wedding could easily be on the pages of Vogue!
