Relaxed Cloughjordan House Wedding
“Dasha! Our wedding photos are amazing! We have spent all morning looking at them and they perfectly portray our day. Ben and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much for perfectly capturing our day so well that it feels like we are reliving our wedding day looking at the album. The book is so incredibly special and can’t wait to show our families and family to come over the years. We seriously cannot thank you enough”
When Lauren and Ben first got in touch, they were after a mix of serious photos and candid that show how happy they and their guests were during the day. They also wanted the photos to reflect the energy felt during the day.
For that purpose they couldn’t have picked a better venue than Cloughjordan House - a beautiful old Irish country house with lots of character and a ‘farm to fork’ approach to the wedding menu (a lot of produce comes from the kitchen garden. Also, their Guinness cake is legendary!). The house is a family run wedding venue, and it really lends itself to a relaxed informal approach with the couple and guests feeling like it’s their house for the weekend.
Lauren and Ben travelled all the way from the US to celebrate in Cloughjordan. Ben’s grandparents are from the village, and it was important for the couple to celebrate close to their Irish family roots.
We couldn’t have asked for a better August day, with guests enjoying the drinks reception and lawn games in front of the house.
Lauren and and Ben decided to have the first look and get some of the couple’s photos out of the way, so they could spend more time with their guests during the cocktail hour. It really freed up some time for us later in the day and also we had to do is spend about 15 minutes for the family photos.
Lauren and Ben, thank you so much for having me capture your beautiful wedding!
